Vortex Spitfire AR 1x Prism Scope DRT reticle
Vortex Spitfire AR was designed specifically for the AR-15 platform, combining an impressively rugged, compact design with the latest digital technology.
When the quick target acquisition at short- and medium distance is important Vortex Spitfire AR shows its best.
The sophisticated prism design provides a compact optical system without sacrificing image quality.
DRT (Dual Ring Tactical) reticle is etched directly onto the prism to guarantee an exact match image with the illuminated reticle at all light levels.
An additional yardage-marked turret cap (ballistic-matched to the 5.56 cartridge) allows the shooter to swap out the factory-installed cap for rapid dialing of known-distance shots out to 650 meters.
The anti-reflective, multi-coated FMC (Fully Multi Coated) lenses used in the collimator allow for excellent visibility regardless of the time of day and conditions.
Coatings make the image clearer and acquire vivid, bright colors.
DRT (MOA) RETICLE
The DRT (Dual Ring Tactical) reticle is designed for rapid shooting at close distances.
The dual ring design pulls the eye into instant alignment with the reticle center and target.
Etched directly on the prism to assure consistent point-of-aim at all times with selectable red/green illumination of five intensity levels to match specific conditions.

A bright 2 MOA dot with also contributes to excellent visibility.
The dot is very well visible in any light, which allows you to quickly find the target and make an accurate shot.
Any changes in lighting are eliminated by the green or red illuminated DRT MOA reticle.
The reticle is additionally equipped with 12 levels of illumination, improving visibility during a sudden change in ambient lighting.
The durability of the Vortex Spitfire red dot sight is due to high-quality anodized aluminum, used in the aviation industry.
Low weight and high resistance to damage or scratches make the sight perfectly suited to all, even the most difficult conditions.

Quality at it’s finest
When I went to visit my local shop that’s a Vortex dealer, I was in the market for a sight to put on my 9mm AR carbine. I have mainly Vortex optics in my collection of optics, and I’ll have to say this one is high quality. everything about it seems that it will be able to withstand what ever you try throwing at it. my favorite part about this is the reticles are engraved in the glass so if your batteries were to die you can still acquire your targets. That shouldn’t be a problem though because the Spitfire uses a single AAA battery instead of one of them expensive short lasting 3V batteries. Great sight for any AR build. Buy it and you won’t be disappointed.
